 Meetings


The Board meets monthly on the first and third Mondays of each month at 5:00 p.m. at the District's office located at 407 West Pearl, Suite B, in Goliad, Texas.  Meetings dates are subject to change.  Meeting notices are posted at the courthouse, on the front door of the District's office, and on the website.  To view any of the Board meeting agendas and/or approved meeting minutes, click on the appropriate date below.  If you have any problems, please contact our office.  We will be happy to assist you.


 

Special Meeting Notice


As required by section 36.108(e), Texas Water Code, a meeting of the Groundwater Management Area 15 Planning Committee, comprised of delegates from the following groundwater conservation districts located wholly or partially within Groundwater Management Area 15:  Coastal Bend GCD, Coastal Plains GCD, Colorado County GCD, Fayette County GCD, Lavaca County GCD, Texana GCD, Victoria County GCD, Refugio County GCD, Pecan Valley GCD, Goliad County GCD, Evergreen UWCD, Bee County GCD and the Corpus Christi Aquifer Storage and Recovery District will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. at Classroom A #108, Pattie Dodson Health Center; 2805 North Navarro, Victoria, Texas.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Chapter 36.404 of the Texas Water Code, Notice is hereby given that the Goliad County Groundwater Conservation District will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 118 South Market Street, Goliad, Texas to hear public comment on the application for a water well operating permit for a well previously permitted and drilled by Holt Ranch Properties located in Goliad County, Texas.  The proposed use is for irrigation of crops and to maintain wetlands.  To view the complete notice, click on the link below:
